Sites in SiteBackend
A site is one of your websites. It holds that website's forms, contacts and testimonials. Add sites, set their domain, and see the Free plan's limit.
A site is one of your websites. Everything SiteBackend does for that website lives inside it: its forms, the people who contacted you through them, and its testimonials. Sites belong to a workspace, which holds the plan and your teammates.
How do I add a site?
Click + next to Sites in the dashboard sidebar and give it a name. The sidebar lists every site in the workspace, with a count of unread submissions and pending testimonials.
What's inside a site?
Open a site to see its tabs:
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Forms | The site's forms, with search and All, Active and Paused filters. See forms. |
| Contacts | Everyone who has submitted a form on the site. See contacts. |
| Testimonials | Testimonials from your customers and the widgets that show them. See collecting testimonials. |
| Settings | The site's name and domain, and deleting the site. |
What does the domain do?
Set it in Settings, for example example.com. Testimonial widgets then only load on that domain, its subdomains and localhost (for testing on your own computer), so other websites can't show your testimonials. Without a domain they can be embedded anywhere.
The domain doesn't restrict forms. To stop other websites posting to a form, set its allowed origins.
How many sites can I have?
The Free plan includes one site; Pro includes unlimited sites. See plans and limits.
Deleting a site
Settings → Delete site deletes the site with all its forms, submissions, contacts, testimonials and widgets. There's no undo. Only owners and admins can delete a site.
