# SiteBackend > A hosted form backend and customer testimonials for static sites: submissions, spam protection, contacts, notifications and embeddable testimonial widgets, with no server to run. SiteBackend gives static sites a form backend: point an HTML form's `action` at `https://api.sitebackend.com/forms/` and submissions are stored, spam-filtered and shown in a dashboard. It also collects testimonials through an embedded form, lets you approve them, and shows approved ones with an embedded widget (wall, carousel, single highlight or rating badge). Every page below is plain Markdown. Pricing: Free (100 submissions/month, 1 site, 10 testimonials shown per site; extra submissions are kept but hidden until you upgrade) and Pro ($9/month or $90/year, unlimited submissions, sites and testimonials, auto-replies, no widget branding). ## Docs: Getting started - [What is SiteBackend?](https://sitebackend.com/docs/getting-started/introduction.md): SiteBackend gives static sites a form backend and customer testimonials.
