Every form has an inbox: its **Submissions** tab. Open a form from its site's **Forms** tab.

## Folders

| Folder | Contains |
| -------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Inbox | New, read and starred submissions. |
| Starred | Submissions you starred. |
| Spam | Submissions caught by the honeypot or content filter, and anything you marked as spam. |
| Archived | Submissions you archived. |

The folders are the chips above the list, each with its count. New submissions have a violet dot until they're read; **Mark all read** clears them.

Click a submission to open it in place. You'll see every field, any attached files, when it arrived, the page it came from, a link to the sender's contact, and whether each notification was delivered. A failed notification shows its error and a **Retry now** button. From there you can mark it read or unread, star, archive or mark it as spam. Submissions in **Spam** and **Archived** can be deleted.

## Why are some submissions hidden?

On the Free plan, submissions that arrive after the workspace reaches its monthly limit are saved but hidden. The inbox shows how many there are, with an **Upgrade to see them** button. They appear as unread as soon as the workspace is on Pro. See [plans and limits](https://sitebackend.com/docs/workspace/plans-and-limits).

## How do I export submissions?

Click **Export CSV** on the form. The file has one row per submission (spam and hidden submissions excluded) and one column per field, plus the date and status. Values that start with `=`, `+`, `-` or `@` are escaped so spreadsheets don't treat them as formulas.
